Pilobolus needs your collaboration

Your tax-deductible gift allows us to invent, inspire, innovate and imagine, through artistic, cultural and educational programs for people of all ages, all around the world. This year we're designing new programs and interactive works that cut through the noise and bring us back to our senses.

Your support goes everywhere with us: To communities around the country, where Pilobolus gets people moving and creating in accessible programs. To stages and alternative spaces everywhere, where our inventive performances bring the experience of live art to new audiences.

Your support also travels to our studio in Washington, CT, where we create new work with artists from all disciplines who share our love for creative exploration. This year, we're working with MIT's Distributed Robotics Lab and with the director of Juilliard's Center for the Arts and Innovation to develop new interactive work that will allow even deeper collaboration between Pilobolus and our audiences.

THE MISSION OF PILOBOLUS IS TO:

Create, perform, and preserve dances, applying the collaborative creative methods of Pilobolus.

Expand and diversify audiences through projects of all types and scales in live
performance, film, and digital media, characterized by the qualities of our namesake fungus—adventurous, adaptive, athletic, surprising and revealing of beauty in unexpected places.

Teach dancers, non-dancers, and organizations how to harness the
creative potential of groups using Pilobolus's methods.
